Shot Timer Drills

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 21, 2026

Shot Timer Drills ("the app") is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data.

Summary

The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data with us or anyone else. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services embedded in the app. Everything you enter — drills, session history, shot times, shooter names, personal bests — stays on your device unless you personally choose to export or share it.

What data the app stores, and where

The app stores the following locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework:

None of this ever leaves your device automatically. We (the developer) have no server, no database, and no way to see any of it.

Bluetooth

The app connects over Bluetooth Low Energy to a Competition Electronics ProTimer BT shot timer, if you choose to pair one, in order to read shot times during a drill. This connection is local, device-to-device — no shot-timer data is sent anywhere beyond your phone and the timer itself.

Exporting your data

You can export your drills and history as CSV files at any time, from the Drills screen, a shooter's history, or Settings → Export All Data. These files are saved wherever you choose (Files app, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, etc.) — that transfer is entirely under your control, not something the app does on its own.

Feedback

If you use Send Feedback in Settings, it opens your device's Mail app with a message addressed to the developer. Whatever you write there — your name and note — is sent to the developer's email address the same way any email you send is sent. The app itself does not collect or store this; it's a standard mailto: link, and sending is optional and requires your explicit action in Mail.

Analytics, advertising, and third parties

The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party libraries of any kind. It makes no network requests at all — not for tracking, not for ads, not for anything.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app deletes all of its data with it. If you'd like to keep a copy first, use Export All Data in Settings before uninstalling.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does transmit data — this page will be updated and the effective date above will change accordingly.

Questions about this policy or the app can be sent to dskuruvilla@pm.me.
